Firefighters union endorses Milton Street for mayor

    We imagine this is paybacks for the brownouts. Firefighters Union Local 22 has endorsed Milton Street for mayor.

    Heard in the Hall reports Street met with the union’s executive board Wednesday, and promised to restore the seven companies Nutter cut in 2009 and end the rolling brownouts. Union Recording Secretary Michael Bresnan told Jeff Shields Street’s misdemeanor conviction isn’t any more criminal than what Nutter’s cuts did to the city.
