    Sen. Bob Casey announced late yesterday more than $390,000 has been awarded to four Southeastern Pennsylvania fire departments. The money comes from the Federal Emergency Management Agency and the Department of Homeland Security.

     

    Glenside Fire Co. No. 1, Humane Fire Co. No. 1 in Royersford, East Lansdowne Fire Co. and Cochranville Fire Co. will split the $391,746 to pay for operations and safety and vehicle acquisition.

    The money comes through the Assistance to Firefighters Grant program.
