Fire engulfs home in Northeast Philadelphia

    Firefighters spent much of Sunday morning working to put out a fast moving fire in Northeast Philadelphia on the 6100 block of Tackawanna Street.

    According to WPVI-TV, firefighters were dispatched around 7 a.m. on reports of a deck catching fire.

    When they arrived, crews report finding a home that was heavily engulfed in flames. According to WPVI-TV, the fire quickly spread to nearby homes.

    Residents in the area were evacuated, but no injuries have been reported as of yet.
