    Township officials in Bensalem could enact a ban on texting while driving as soon as next month. The Bucks County Courier Times reports the township is considering a ban that would implement fines of $150 to $300 for violations. Solicitor Barbara Kirk said if a statewide ban is imposed at some point, it will supersede the local law.
