Festival weekend in Dover
Anyone traveling around Dover has a variety of events to sample this weekend.
The Biggs Museum of American Art presents “Delaware By Hand: Masterworks 2011”. It’s an indoor art sale by members of the Delaware Art Guild. It’s open from 5-8p Friday and 9-4:30 on Saturday. Go to www.biggsmuseum.org or call 302-674-2111 for details.
The Johnson Victrola Museum has two programs this weekend and they have to do with the saxaphone. They mark Adlophe Sax’s invention of the instrument in events over Saturday and Sunday. Admission is free. The museum is open 9-4:30pm.
