Feds investigating whether a U.S. attorney campaigned on the job

The U.S. Office of Special Counsel is investigating whether an assistant U.S. attorney campaigned for Patrick Meehan and Arlen Specter using government resources.

CBS3 reports that Laurie Magid may have sent email from her Justice Department account to raise campaign funds. Magid spent some time as U.S. attorney in Philadelphia after Patrick Meehan left the office to run for Congress.
