Farm to School program highlighted

Farmers and school nutrition leaders are connecting today at a summit on Delaware’s Farm to School program.
The program aims to get locally produced food into Delaware’s schools in an effort to improve nutrition for students and increase opportunities for farmers. Yesterday, Governor Markell declared March to be Delaware Nutrition Month. Today’s summit is being held at the Delaware Agricultural Museum and Village in Dover.
