Families moving in together – challenges and opportunities

    3.6 million parents in the US live with their adult children – this according to 2007 Census Data. The number is up from 3 million in 2000.

    As families face job loss, home foreclosures and tight finances – many opt to move in together, or to care for an ailing elder in their own home as opposed to paying for assisted living. WHYY’s Behavioral Health reporter Maiken Scott spoke with therapist Dan Gottlieb.
