Enjoying snow in the early morning hours

    Already the snow has turned to slush ice and startlingly deep puddles. The piles along the sidewalks are shades of gray, black and …ugh…yellow. But a short time ago, the snow left our region a pristine, motionless paradise.

    Now and in future snowfalls (because we all know there’s more coming), check back in on Jo Ann Allen’s early morning snow blog post. Our Morning Edition host reminds that snow is actually pretty when you get to take it all in at 4 a.m. before everyone else. It’s probably one of a few benefits of waking up before dawn.
