Easter Special: discount ride tickets in Ocean City and Wildwood
If you’re in Wildwood or Ocean City this Easter Sunday, you’ll notice long lines stretching across the boardwalks.
That’s because Moreys Piers in Wildwood and Gillians Wonderland and Playland’s Castaway Cove in Ocean City will not only be open, but they’ll also be selling discounted tickets and passes for the 2012 season.
Morey’s will knock off up to 35% off season passes, waterpark passes and MOR-EZ pass cards. They’ll also be offering some Easter fun. Mariner’s Landing will be open from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Sunday, with appearances from the Easter Bunny, stilt walkers, and jugglers in the hours between noon and 5 p.m. They’ll also have face painting from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m., and kids under 12 can pick an Easter egg for possible prizes. In Ocean City, the Gillians Wonderland Pier sale will run from 1 to 5 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday. Twenty-five tickets will cost $10 – a deal you can get only in person. Playland’s Castaway Cove’s half off ticket sale runs on Saturday and Sunday as well, from noon to 5 p.m., and extends through April 15. You can get their discount online at playlandstore.com.
Almost every boardwalk business will be open, too, for an early taste of the summer season. So even if the idea of Tilt-a-Whirl has your stomach churning, you can still partake in the boardwalk fun.
