East is worst

Much of the country will be affected in some way by the holiday weekend snowstorm, according a release from AccuWeather. The release details impacts to various parts of the country, and while little is said about the Mid-Atlantic, there was this gem:

“In this case, the farther east you are, the worst conditions would be. This applies particularly from Washington, D.C., to Philadelphia and New York City on Sunday.”

A slight change in the storm track could hugely affect how much snow our area sees. As mentioned above, we’re in deep (literally) trouble should the storm hit us harder than expected.
