This weekend, there will be three viewings of the mystery “Earth and Sky,” at the Old Academy Players.
The film tells the story of Sara McKeon, a would-be poet whose lover of a few months has been brutally murdered and who is believed to have had connections with kidnapping and murder. She begins a gutsy, one-woman quest for the truth, helped but often stymied by the police. Her search brings her to the underbelly of Chicago’s underworld. It was written by Douglas Post and directed by Barbara Pease Walker. The viewing will be at 8 p.m on Friday and Saturday. It will be at 2 p.m. on Sunday. Tickets are $15. To RSVP, call (215) 843-1109
