This Friday and Saturday, head to Old Academy players and enjoy the viewing of  “A Streetcar Named Desire” by Tennesse Williams at 8 p.m.

 

Old Academy Players is located at 3540-44 Indian Queen Lane. The story depicts the live of a sensitive and wounded woman named Blanche who is on the brink of madness that collides with basic and brutish Stanley making fireworks unavoidable. The play was the winner of every stage award of its day and had serval Oscar nominations and three wins for its cast. Tickets costs $15. For more information, call (215) 843-1109.

The show will also be shown June 15-17 and 22-24. The showing on Sundays will be at 2 p.m.
