    Pending approval from Gov. Chris Christie, New Jersey residents whose relatives died whie serving active duty are eligible for Gold Star license plates.

     

    The Gloucester County Times reports the Assembly unanimously passed the bill to allow parents, siblings, spouses, children, stepparents and adoptive parents of servicemen and servicewomen who died while on active duty for the U.S. to obtain a Gold Star Family license plate free of charge.

    The plates say ‘Gold Star Family’ and include a gold star.
