Dover Sun Park dedicated
Dover’s 10-megawatt solar power park will be dedicated today.
The solar power system is expected to generate enough power to provide electricity for more than 1,500 homes. The system is owned by LS Power and developed in partnership with the city of Dover, Demarva Power, Delaware Sustainable Energy Utility and Delaware Municipal Electric Corporation. SunPower designed and built the system using high-efficiency SunPower solar panels and sun-tracking systems.
