Doubleheader set Saturday for Phillies-Mets

It wasn’t just the rain in the Philadelphia area cancelling events.

The Philadelphia Phillies were scheduled to take on the New York Mets in New York last night, but heavy rain in the area forced for a doubleheader today.

With a tarp covering the diamond at Citi Field last night, players were left to sit and wait out the storm.

    Today’s games begin at 1:10 p.m. and 7:10 p.m.
