Dolphin deaths not linked to water quality, official says

    Marine Mammal Stranding Center Director Robert Schoelkopf speaks with NewsWorks Tonight Host Dave Heller about the massive die-off of dolphins on the East Coast.

    Schoelkopf said a virus is the suspected culprit. Neither water quality, nor the aftermath of Superstorm Sandy, have anything do with the dolphin deaths, he said, noting the water quality is excellent.
