Direct deposit paychecks delayed for Cumberland County workers
Cumberland County’s direct deposit employees seemed to have skipped the payday space this week in the game of life.
Due to a processing error, direct deposit employees of the county did not receive their checks today.
The News of Cumberland County reports although the payroll funds made it to Sun Bank on time Tuesday, an “unknown reason” prevented the bank from processing the transaction.
Those counting on their checks today will have to wait until tomorrow, but those who receive paper checks weren’t affected.
