Revamped Delaware student testing program underway this week

The first tests that actually count under the new Delaware Comprehensive Assessment System program are being administered to students this week.

The DCAS replaced the DSTP, or Delaware Student Testing Program.  Students and schools have taken part in practice tests over the fall and winter.

Students and teachers are able to prepare for the test by practicing through the online portal, http://de.portal.airast.org

Results of the DCAS are also more quickly available than they were through the DSTP, allowing parents, schools and teachers to determine ways to improve student performance.
