Delaware County company selling Pothead candy line

Pothead candy — gummies, lollipops and ringpops  in the shape of pot leaves — is being sold by a Delaware County company, distributed nationwide and raising concern among some parents.

Kalan LP in Lansdowne has been selling the product as part of its “Legalize It” line of novelty items, the Delaware County Daily Times reports, made up of products calling for the legalization of marijuana.

The products aren’t illegal, and CEO Andrew Kalan — a parent himself — says he doesn’t think the Pothead candy paves the way to drug use. Moreover, the candies aren’t marketed to children.
