Delaware child predator task force nabs Newark man

A 42-year-old Newark man faces 25 counts of child pornography charges after being tracked by the Delaware Child Predator Task Force.

Attorney General Beau Biden made the announcement on Thursday and provided details on the case that involves the online distribution of child pornography.

John Figura of Newark is at the center of the investigation after Task Force officials and Delaware State Police Troopers searched his home this week.  Detectives seized several computers, as well as physical evidence depicting images of children. There was also the discovery of child pornography videos after seized digital equipment was reviewed.

“This case highlights why we need the Child Predator Task Force and its single-minded dedication to protecting our kids,” said Biden.
