Hollis: We were prepared because we usually get a big influx on hunting season morning. We start the grill earlier and we make sure the homefries are ready to go and our first round of coffee. We get all that made up so that by 5 o’clock when we open the doors we’re ready to serve people.

Hollis says while many of the hunters are regular customers who would come to eat anyway, they often bring their fellow hunters – who aren’t such frequent diners.
