Criminal spending

    Federal authorities have opened a criminal probe to look into campaign spending by Delaware Tea Party candidate Christine O’Donnell.

    The Boston Herald reports two federal prosecutors and two FBI agents are investigating whether O’Donnell used some of record $7.3 million in campaign funds to foot personal expenses.
