5622 Germantown Ave. – A store employee of Metro PCS, said the offender came into the store and robbed the registers at gunpoint. The offender then fled the location.

March 2, 2011

7500 block Forrest Ave. – complainant said he noticed that $450 he placed in an envelope was missing.

2000 block Andrews Ave. – driver-side front wheel stolen from a car.

200 block W. Mt. Pleasant Ave. – 1995 Chevy Beretta stolen.

 

March 3, 2011

2200 block 74th Ave. – complainant said two men with 9mm handguns mugged him. Complainant said one of the offenders pointed a gun at his stomach. The two then took $70, car keys and an ID and fled on foot. The complainant was taken to the Northwest Detectives Division.

6200 block Morton St. – complainant said someone entered her home through a back door using a screwdriver, and then forced open a locked interior door. The offender walked away with $200 and jewelry.

Unit block E. Cliveden St. – cell phone, purse, credit cards and $40 stolen from the property. Complainant said she left the apartment after a fight with her live-in girlfriend. When she returned, she noticed her purse missing.

200 block Durand St. – $10,000, three watches, two diamond rings and a Nintendo Wii stolen from the property. Complainant does not have an alarm system.

5600 block Germantown Ave. – complainant, an employee of Metro PCS, said the offender came into the store and robbed the registers at gunpoint. The offender then fled the location.

1600 block McPherson St. – 1993 Nissan Sentra and paperwork stolen. Complainant said the keys were inside of the vehicle at the time.

March 4, 2011

7500 block Thouron Ave. – 1999 Nissan Altima stolen. Complainant said she started her car and went inside. When she returned, the car was gone.

7100 block McCallum St. – platinum engagement ring, platinum wedding ring and various jewelry items stolen from the property. Complainant said someone entered through a rear kitchen door.

7700 block Winston Rd. – Apple iPod stolen from a 2004 Yukon Denali. Complainant said the car had an unlocked door.

8400 block Temple Rd. – Wii game system, 3 controllers, Playstation, Apple laptop and two Playstation games stolen from the property. Complainant’s son said that he left the front door unlocked just before leaving the house because he couldn’t find his key.

1400 block Vernon Rd. – 30 cartons of cigarettes stolen. Complainant said two men came into the store. One offender pointed a handgun at him while the other ran around the counter and took the cigarettes. The offenders then fled on foot.

March 5, 2011

E. Haines St. / Ardleigh St. – complainant said several men approached him while he was walking down the street. One of the offenders punched him in the mouth, while the others attempted to take his cell phone and money. The offenders walked away empty-handed.

7400 block Rugby St. – a man was murdered. The victim was discovered in the street with a gunshot wound to the back of the head. He was taken to the hospital, where he was later pronounced at 8:53 p.m.

1500 block Yerkes St. – 1999 Mitsubishi Galant stolen. Complainant said someone stole his car at gunpoint. Car was later spotted by police on E. Washington Lane, where it was involved in an accident. Four offenders fled from the vehicle, three of which were apprehended following a foot pursuit.

7300 block Thouron Ave. – 1993 Oldsmobile Cutlass stolen.

2300 block 76th Ave. – two safes containing a total of $7000 was stolen from the property. Complainant said several men entered his room while he was asleep, tied him up and covered his face with a pillowcase. A witness said one of the offenders opened the front door asking to use the phone and then three other men came in behind him.

4700 block Germantown Ave. – seven heater covers and a heater stolen from the Goodwill Baptist Church. Complainant, the pastor of the listed location, said there were no signs of a forced entry.

400 block Locust Ave. – an engine decoder, CD changer and an air pump were stolen from a 2000 Suzuki Ventura.

Baynton St. / Mayland St. – complainant said that three men approached him and started asking him about money from a previous situation. The offenders then started to hit the complainant until he blacked out. Complainant was taken to the hospital for broken teeth and an injured jaw.

8100 block Shawnee St. – gold chain stolen from the property. Complainant said he came home to find his back door broken and kicked.

March 6, 2011

400 block Mechanic St. – Xbox. PSP game controller, HP laptop computer and three video games were stolen from the property.

Unit block E. Coulter St. – complainant said she was stabbed in the right arm with an unknown object during a fight with two women.

5800 block Lena St. – iPhone stolen from a 2009 Honda Fit. Complainant said her passenger front window was broken.

200-block E. Willow Grove Ave. – complainant said someone snatched her Vera Wang shoulder bag from a car while she was waiting for the bus. The bag contained $350.

100 block W. Springfield Ave. – Apple laptop stolen from a 2006 Jeep Cherokee.

March 7, 2011

1600 block Andrews Ave. – laptop, two Canon cameras and a leather jacket stolen from a 2003 Lincoln Navigator. Complainant said all four tires were slashed and driver’s side windows were broken. The car also had multiple key marks on it.

7600 block Thouron Ave. – 1996 Nissan Maxima stolen.

1300 block E. Tulpehocken St. – Access card valued at $276 stolen from the property. Complainant, who lives at the shelter, she said someone took the card from a grocery bag in her room.

8200 block Forrest Ave. – Mac computer, 32″ Samsung TV and a 15″ Mitsubishi TV stolen from the property. Complainant said he came home to find the front window and back door slightly open.

March 8, 2011

500 block Mayland St. – 9mm handgun and key lock stolen from the property. Complainant said had a party Feb. 26 and noticed March 1 that the firearm was gone.

100 block W. Chelten Ave. – complainant said an acquaintance bit the right side of his face while the two were at a Pathmark. The incident happened as store security tried to escort the complainant out of the store.

600 block Park Lane – Emerson LCD TV, silver watch, gold watch, gold necklace and clothing stolen from the property. Complainant said he does not have an alarm system.

6800 block Emlen St. – 1995 Plymouth Voyager stolen. Complainant said his brother took his spare car keys after he went to work.

6300 block Crittenden St. – complainant, a teacher, said someone stole his Apple iPhone. Complainant said he put the cell phone in the desk drawer and walked his students out of the building. When he returned, it was gone. The teacher later watched surveillance footage and saw the offender. He went to the student’s home to retrieve the cell phone.

7400 block Rugby St. – Panasonic 19″ TV, two DVD players, various rings, $100 and a set of keys stolen from the property. There were no signs of a forced entry.

7000 block Forrest Ave. – complainant said an acquaintance pointed a gun at him. The offender was arrested.

2100 block Homer St. – Acer laptop stolen. Complainant said someone stole the computer from a dresser drawer in his bedroom.
