Feb 12, 2011 – 6200 block Wayne Ave. – complainant, landlord, said someone at an apartment punched her several times in the head with a Comcast router. She was taken to the hospital. Offender was arrested.

02.09.11

1300 block E. Johnson St. – 19″ flat screen TV and DVD player were stolen from the property. Complainant said her door was left unlocked, possibly by the building manager.

Unit block W. Chelten Ave. – complainant said a group of men attacked him while he was walking and using his cell phone. The offenders shoved the man to the ground and ran off with the cell phone.

8800 bock Germantown Ave. – 2010 Range Rover was stolen. Complainant said she left the car running with the keys inside while she ran inside the house.

8400 block Bayard St. – 2001 Chevy Tahoe stolen.

Stenton Ave. / E. Haines St. – complainant said a group of men jumped him and stole his cell phone. One of the males punched him, while another snatched the cell phone. Police apprehended one of the offenders after surveying the scene.

5300 block Chew Ave. – witnesses watched someone rob Beneficial Bank using a demand note. Tellers on duty handed over $3500 with a dye pack. Offender fled the scene.

900 block E. Chelten Ave. – complainant said a fellow student punched him in the head and took his cell phone.

Greene St. / Coulter St. – complainant said two people attacked him from behind and took his book bag containing a cell phone. The complainant was punched and kicked several times during the mugging.

100 block W. Chelten Ave. – complainant, teller at PNC Bank, said someone walked in and asked for a withdrawal slip. The offender wrote a note telling the teller to put cash in a bag. She complied and handed over an unknown amount of money. The complainant left behind the note and was later arrested after he was seen walking down Chelten Avenue.

7000 block Louise St. – lockbox containing a handgun was stolen from the property. Complainant said he was out of time at the time. Seven other men were inside the place while he was away.

1900 block Plymouth St. – police officer injured. He was treated at the hospital for injuries sustained to his hands.

8600 block Thouron Ave. – 1998 Dodge Intrepid stolen.

100 block W. Highland Ave. – 2002 Kia Optima stolen.

7200 block Sommers Road – 2007 Honda Accord stolen. Complainant said she was heating up her vehicle and ran back into the house to grab her purse. When she came back out, the car was gone.

 

6400 block Wayne Ave. – complainant was attacked by three women. Two of them were apprehended by police. The third fled the scene. The offender ran off with a cell phone.

8500 block Germantown Ave. – two Blackberry cell phones stolen from a 2003 Audi.

1300 block E. Washington Lane – 2009 Toyota Venza stolen. Complainant said two men grabbed him as he got into his car. The offenders were in the back seat. The complainant fled the scene.

2300 block Wooster Road – 2004 Subaru Outback stolen and later recovered.

7900 block Thouron Ave. – complainant said her boyfriend punched her in the face, choked her and smashed two TVs with a hammer. Complainant said she left after the offender showed her his handgun and threatened to kill her. The incident began with an argument over a cell phone.

4800 block Germantown Ave. – 1996 Cadillac Deville containing a suitcase, CDs and tools was stolen.

6200 block Germantown Ave. – 50″ TV, DVD player, Roland keyboard, Playstation 3, two Sony Cameras and a Movado watch stolen from a storage unit.

200 block Benezet St. – 52″ Samsung flat screen TV, Xbox 360 and a diamond ring stolen from the property.

N. 19th St. / Penfield St. – 1994 Lexus GS 300 stolen.

1800 block 72nd Avenue – complainant said a house guest stole jewelry and perfume from her bedroom. The offender was arrested and taken to the Northwest Detectives Division.

300 block E. Ashmead St. – two Kenmore dryers and a Kenmore washer stolen from the property. Complainant, the building’s landlord, said the items were gone after he evicted a tenant.

6600 block Chew Ave. – complainant said an acquaintance stabbed him in the left arm with a kitchen knife after argument. The offender was later arrested.

Chew Ave. / E. Wister St. – 2011 Toyota Camry stolen. Complainant, an employee of Enterprise Rental, said she left the car running in a Rite-Aid parking lot with the key’s inside. When she returned three minutes later, the car was gone.

1000 block Kitchens Lane – Apple Mac Book laptop and various jewelry were stolen from the property. Complainant said someone climbed through a second floor bedroom window and took the items.

Unit block Maplewood Mall – Sprint cell phone stolen. Complainant last saw the item on a counter on the store’s counter.

1400 block Wadsworth Ave. – 2001 Pontiac Grand Prix stolen.

8300 block Temple Road – 2005 GMC Envoy stolen.
