Ex-NJ Gov. helping oversee elections in Nigeria

Where in the world is… Jon Corzine?

The former New Jersey governor has traveled to Nigeria to help oversee parliamentary elections there.

Corzine spokesman Josh Zeitz tells the Star-Ledger of Newark that the former governor is there with the National Democratic Institute, a nonprofit group that promotes democracy. His contingent includes former elected officials from around the world.

Elections were originally scheduled for April 2 but were delayed a week.

And where’s he been lately? Well, he’s mostly disappeared from public life since he lost the re-election bid in November 2009 to Republican Chris Christie. But he still runs a hedge fund.
