Pa. gov to be released from Pittsburgh hospital

    Happening now:

    Pennsylvania Gov. Tom Corbett is about to be released from a hospital, two days after what’s been described as successful surgery on his back.

    Corbett’s office said Wednesday he was expected to be sent home from Allegheny General Hospital at about 11 a.m.

    Lt. Gov. Jim Cawley served for a few hours as acting governor while Corbett went under the knife.
