Constitution Center hosts discussion about national security

With Osama bin Laden dead and U.S. security officials on alert, how do we stay safe without being paranoid and compromising civil liberties?

That’s what two visiting fellows will talk about tonight at the National Constitution Center.

Richard V. Allen, senior fellow at the Hoover Institution and the National Constitution Center’s 2010-11 Visiting Scholar; and Deborah Pearlstein, University of Pennsylvania Law School Visiting Faculty Fellow; will lead the program on national security, along with Fox29 General Manager Patrick Paolini, who will facilitate the discussion.

At 6:30 p.m., Allen and Pearlstein will talk about how bin Laden’s death has impacted national security and what America can do to maintain a level of safety.
