Conestoga High grad talks to ’60 Minutes’ about cancer and the NFL

Conestoga High School (Tredyffrin Township, Pa.) graduate Mark Herzlich is a free agent for the New York Giants. But before he got there, Herzlich spend a year undergoing treatment for a rare form of bone cancer.

The 2008 Atlantic Coast Conference defensive player of the year will appear on 60 Minutes tonight (7 p.m., CBS3), to talk about his battle with cancer and his road to the NFL.

But as he explains in the show preview seen here, he’s in New York to play football, not talk cancer.
