Christie’s support of anti-abortionists lowers some voters’ opinions

Some New Jersey voters have a lesser opinion of Gov. Chris Christie since he showed support earlier this year for anti-abortion activists. No surprise there. The real information is in the numbers, which come from a Februrary poll from Rutgers-Eagleton.

    NJ.com reports the following:

    811 registered voters were polled
54 percent said Christie’s speech supporting the activists had no affect
31 percent said the speech made them feel worse about Christie
14 percent said they felt better about Christie after the speech

The poll also laid out the percentage of voters who favor different types of abortion regulation.
