Bus driver, Royersford passenger dead in Turnpike bus crash

    Update: The Delaware County Times reports a 20-year-old Royersford man is among the deceased. Troy Nguyen died after being transported to the Hospital of New Brunswick. The other fatality was the bus driver, 50-year-old Wei Wang.

    The bus, of Super Luxury Tours Inc., of Wilkes-Barre, Pa., has been moved to an impound lot for inspection.

    Police say a bus traveling from New York City’s Chinatown to Philadelphia has crashed on a highway in New Jersey, killing two people.

    New Jersey state police Sgt. Stephen Jones says the driver was thrown through the windshield and was killed. He says another person on the bus also died and about 40 people have been taken to hospitals.

    The one-vehicle crash happened on the New Jersey Turnpike on Monday night, just days after a bus heading from a Connecticut casino into New York City’s Chinatown crashed and killed 15 people.

    The cause of the crash hasn’t been determined.
