When TV featured the likes of Captain Noah and ‘Wee Willie’ Webber

    Lifelong Delaware residents of a certain age can recall a time when kid’s TV included the likes of Captain Noah, “Wee Willie” Webber and Pixanne.

    It was a time many consider to be the “golden age” of television.

    Rutgers-Camden librarian Vibiana Bowman Cvetkovic joins NewsWorks Tonight host Dave Heller to discuss what TV used to look like during the beginning of broadcast television in the late 1940s to the late 1960s.
