Chestnut Hill

Do you love the nature and volunteering? Join Friends of the Wissahickon and the REI of Conshohocken this Saturday from 9:30 to 12:30 for the National Trails Day.

This is a nation-wide effort to raise awareness of and care for the trails in Wissahickon Valley Park. The volunteers will perform invasive plant removal and trail maintenance at the Andorra Natural Area. The meeting place is the parking lot at the Wissahickon Environmental Center. Volunteers can enter at the intersection of Forbidden Drive and Northwestern Avenue in Chestnut Hill. To register, contact FOW’s volunteer coordinator Dan Mercer at mercer@fow.org.
