Chestnut Hill

Celebrate local police, firefighters and postal workers at a Pastorius Park picnic. The evening will include a concert by the “Hot Club of Philadelphia” who will play acoustic-style “gypsy jazz.”
The picnic begins at 6 p.m. and is free for police, firefighters, postal workers and their immediate family members. All other members of the community may join the picnic for $8. To reserve your picnic space, call 215-248-8810. The free summer concert series, presented by the Chestnut Hill Community Association, will continue on Wednesday July 25 at 7:30 p.m. at the park, located at Lincoln Drive and Abington Avenue. Visit www.hotclubphilly.com to learn more about the band.
