Take a hike or two with the Friends of the Wissahickon this Saturday beginning at 10 a.m.
Attendees of the first hike will discuss the land use of storm water as they explore the Philadelphia Water Department’s stream channel mitigation channel with Peg Shaw.The meeting place is lower parking lot of Bell’s Mill Road.
The second hike will begin at 1 p.m. Attendees will simply explore the Wissahickon trails. The meeting place is at the Chestnut Hill Avenue entrance of the park.
Attendees are encouraged to bring water.
