Charges dismissed for 10 arrested during Occupy Philly sit-in

WHYY/NewsWorks reporter Emma Jacobs tells us the charges have been dismissed for the 10 people arrested during the Oct. 23 Occupy Philly sit-in outside police headquarters.

The non-violent sit-in was part of a day of action to bring attention to police brutality — an issue that came up several times during Occupy’s stay at Dilworth Plaza.

Today’s court appearances are the first full trials associated with Occupy Philly.
