Record turnout for Rockin’ the Ridge Car Show
Nearly 200 classic cars lined the entrance of Gorgas Park in Roxborough on Saturday for the 9th annual Rockin’ the Ridge Car Show.
Organizers say it was the largest turnout they’ve ever seen.
Concessions, crafts and inflatable attractions brought families out from all over Northwest Philadelphia for a good cause.
Each year, the Ridge Runners donate the proceeds to a number of groups including the 21st Ward little league team and the American Cancer Society.
The club will hold another car show in the fall to benefit St. Mary’s Episcopal Church on East Cathedral Road in Roxborough.
