Camden residents must boil water

Camden residents must boil their water before drinking it or cooking with it.

United Water officials say the city’s water system has experienced intermittent outages and significant loss of water pressure due to the extreme heat and high demand.

Camden residents have caused part of the problem by opening fire hydrants to cool down from the heat.

Water does not have to be boiled for showering, washing dishes or clothes.
