Camden County awarded $1.46 million federal grant for transit improvements

The Camden Travel Management and Coordination Center stands to see some improvements in the near future.

The Gloucester County Times is reporting that the U.S. Department of Transportation has awarded $1.46 million to NJ Transit. Planned improvements include additions to in-vehicle technology and an expansion to TMCC facilities that will increase the agency’s ability to assist populations of veterans in Camden County and allow it to accommodate a larger staff.

The TMCC provides access for transportation-disadvantaged residents in Camden County to local and regional modes of transportation.
