Another bus driver injured in West Oak Lane shooting incident

Authorities say a transit bus driver was one of two people wounded when a shooting broke out in Philadelphia, the AP reports.

The shooting last night came a week after another SEPTA driver was shot and drove herself to a hospital.

Police say a 22-year-old man was shot twice around 9:30 p.m. in the city’s West Oak Lane neighborhood. Officials say another bullet hit the windshield, injuring the driver with shattered glass.

A SEPTA spokesman says the bus was on a layover and no passengers were on board. NewsWorks has confirmed the victims were found on the 7600- and 7800-blocks of Ogontz Avenue.
