For all you burger fans out there, be sure to tune in to the Cooking Channel’s “Unique Eats” tonight at 10 p.m. As reported by bloggers at uwishunu, Iron Chef Jose Garces will be showing off the “Whiskey King” — signature sandwich at the Rittenhouse-based eatery Village Whiskey.
The Whiskey King is a decadent burger topped with cheese, onions, bacon, and foie gras. Yep. All that. On one burger. And for only $26 — fries sold separately.
The show is a special “burger-themed” episode, though viewers will also get a look at Garces’ recipe for pickled baby beets, which also grace the Village Whiskey menu. Other burgers to be featured in the show hail from Atlanta, L.A. and New York.
