Broken sewage pipe leaking into a Gloucester Township lake

    Joe Green of the Gloucester County Times has more details on what happened with that spill

    Officials estimate 26,000 gallons of deisel fuel leaked into waterways shared by Gloucester and Washington townships after a gasket to two underground tanks became dislodged.

    Gloucester County Times’ Jessica Beym reported today that a broken pipe in Washington Lake Park is leaking thousands of gallons of sewage.
