Bridgewater may block planned mosque

A proposed mosque in Bridgewater, New Jersey is getting some attention now that the town is considering an ordinance that could bar the religious center from its chosen location.

The mind can’t help but hearken back to last year’s controversy over a proposed mosque and Muslim cultural center near ground zero (recent news on that front: the Imam spearheading the project is now on a speaking tour).  But is the comparison apt?  Is this a clear cut case of religious discrimination, or a town being persecuted for expressing legitimate concerns about zoning and land use?  Give us your two cents.  Feed the Feed.
