Bon Jovi opens pay-what-you-can restaurant in Red Bank

Want a hot meal but can’t afford it? In Red Bank, N.J., Jon Bon Jovi and crew are trying to eliminate the soup kitchen stigma. Bon Jovi has opened his pay-what-you-can-restaurant.

The rocker announced the price-less restaurant plans in April, is now ready to serve meals at Soul Kitchen.

Diners will be able to pay what they can for a meal, the Associated Press reports, provided they do a little work or community service in exchange. Bon Jovi’s Soul Foundation is subsidizing the restaurant, and though he won’t be cooking, you might spot him washing dishes.
