Blaze of Glory
President Barack Obama has named Jon Bon Jovi to the White House Council for Community Solutions. The Associated Press reports Bon Jovi, who sang at the president’s inaugural concert, was chosen for his work with the homless in programs like Project HOME.
The honor must come as some relief to the singer, who won’t be making it into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame just yet. Instead, the 2011 class will include Neil Diamond, Alice Cooper, Tom waite and Dr. John Darlene Love.
