Bala Cynwyd Library hosts what could be its last free concert

    This year’s concert at the Bala Cynwyd Library could be the last free musical performance the library puts on. Budget cuts have slowly affected the library’s thrice-annual event, and Sunday’s performance honoring Lower Merion resident and musician Sylvia Glickman might very well end a 39-year tradition.
    The Main Line times reports on the library’s volunteer artistic director and board member, Gilya Hodos, who is trying to preserve the music series and maintain its quality, while providing free music to residents.
