Bad signal
A Princeton, NJ lawyer wants the Supreme Court to hear his case against the New England Patriots. Attorney Carl Mayer and two other season ticket-holding lawyers filed a class action suit against the NFL team back in 2007, claiming the Pats had video taped the New York Jets’ hand signals.
Mayer maintains the spying effectively rigged the game, the Associated Press reports, ripping off ticket holders.
It’s unclear if the Supreme Court will hear the case., which has already been dismissed by the US District and Federal Appeals courts.
