Police: 4 used dating site to set up robberies

Police in suburban Philadelphia have arrested four people they say used the dating website Lavalife to lure men to a motel room then rob them at gunpoint, the AP reports.

Bensalem police say they learned of the robberies when a man called to complain he’d met a woman online and took her out to dinner then was robbed after she suggested they get a room.

The alleged victim told investigators another man came to the door with a gun and demanded money after the woman sent text messages.

Two men and two women were arrested Saturday after police burst into a room at the Sunrise Inn in Bensalem and found a naked man being held at gunpoint.
