Autumn Pasquale case transferred to Camden County prosecutor amid possible lawsuit

The trial of a young Gloucester County girl’s murder will be handled by the Camden County Prosecutor’s Office, now that it appears a lawsuit could be filed against the Gloucester County Prosecutor’s Office. The body of 12-year-old Autumn Pasquale was recovered blocks from her father’s Clayton home days after she was reported missing. Since then, Pasquale’s family has been critical of how the police department and prosecutor’s office has handled the case.

The South Jersey Times reports a tort claim notice has been filed on behalf of the girl’s father, and a lawsuit may not be far behind.

Charged for the murder are 17-year-old Donte and 15-year-old Justin Robinson, brothers who lived nearby.
