    Travel with us “Over the Rainbow” in this year’s end of summer production. This classic story will take you on a journey through OZ with Dorothy, Scarecrow, Tinman, the Cowardly Lion and, of course, Toto. Relive the magical moments when you first saw Dorothy stroll down the yellow brick road with her friends, all searching to find themselves in the wonderful land of OZ. New Candlelight Theatre, August 27th and 28th, 8 p.m. and August 29th, 3 p.m.

    Around the Fountain Festival

    Around the Fountain Festival, presented by Christiana Care, will be held in the Cool Spring Reservoir Park on Sunday, August 29 from noon to 5 p.m. The festival will feature artist exhibitions and demonstrations, live entertainment, old-fashioned picnic games, improv performers, ice cream, water ice and food from area restaurants. Cool Spring Reservoir Park, August 29th, 12 p.m.

    History of Delaware at the Biggs Museum

    Take our new self-guided History of Delaware tour through the museum’s permanent galleries. Staff will be available to answer questions. Biggs Museum of American Art, September 3rd, 2 p.m.

    The Rehoboth Summer Children’s Theatre: “Aladdin”

    When a lazy young lad tries to polish a moldy old lamp, he suddenly comes face to face with the all powerful genie, Jane. Aided by the genie’s magic, Aladdin sets out to win the hand of the beautiful princess. His plans are foiled by the evil sorceress, Sofari-Sobadi who steals the lamp. Rehoboth Beach Theatre of the Arts, September 2nd, 7 p.m.

    Tartan Terrors Celtic Celebration

    Taking the Celtic scene by storm, the Tartan Terrors, North America’s premiere Celtic Event, features the best in music, comedy and dance. Bolstered by the blistering piping of a Two Time World Champion Bagpiper, the driving tones of drums from around the world, and a guitar played unlike any you’ve ever heard. The Freeman Stage at Bayside, September 2nd, 7 p.m.
